What Delta offers us is a flight that takes off from New York JFK airport and flies all the way to Turkey`s Ataturk airport. This flight is daily and the plane departs every day at 5:00 pm. The route to Istanbul takes around 10 hours and you`ll be flown on a Boeing 767-400.

Another airline offering straight flights from the US to Turkey is the country`s national carrier Turkish Airlines. Turkish has daily flights from JFK to Istanbul` s International airport in 4:45 pm. There is another direct flight operated in a similar manner by Turkish Airlines from Chicago`s O`Hare airport to Istanbul. The flight departs every day at 10:20 pm and it takes approximately 11 hours to get to Turkey.
