Flights to Izmir
Izmir’s airport is expanding rapidly. Recently both British Airways and KLM started flying here directly from Europe.
Turkish Airlines offers nonstop flights to İstanbul and Ankara from Adnan Menderes Airport (274 2424), with connections to other destinations.
Onur Air , Atlasjet , Fly Air, the new domestic carrier Sun Express Airlines and İzmir Airlines also fly to İzmir.
There are also flights between İzmir and Europe on various European airlines. With the launch of İzmir Airlines, direct flights to Europe will greatly increase, and İzmir is billed to become one of Turkey’s biggest hubs.
